ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Car-B-Que kicked off the initial in a series of entertaining gatherings at the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke Friday night. There was a little bit of every little thing for attendees to love, from new music and food stuff to common cars.
WFXR’s Main Meteorologist John Carroll was there to sample the fun. He also had a chance to speak with some of the organizers of the occasion.
“The common motor vehicle, community auto clubs are really supportive of the Transportation Museum and its mission down listed here to encourage background and preserve background of the car,” reported Tom Cox, Executive Committee Board Member of Virginia Museum of Transportation, in reference to the wide variety of classic vehicles delivered by local car fanatics on display screen in the new amusement location at the Museum.
“We have Touch of Course featuring Jerome Claytor, Chef Claytor’s Aspiration On A Plate Food Truck. We have a beer backyard garden, video games for the young children. This can help us raise revenue to continue to keep our doors open, generally, specially just after Covid,” explained Mendy Flynn, the Deputy Director of the Virginia Museum of Transportation.
