Maria Marino brings the vivid colors of her day-time landscapes into the night time with her pastel nocturnes. See a lot more of her operate (both day and evening) in our Voices of Experience post. We have questioned some of our favored artists to clearly show us examples of their evening time paintings and to tell us a very little little bit about their procedures in this sequence of Nocturne Notes.
Marino shared with us these two examples of her exuberant, expressive pastel nocturne paintings. She informed us that her goal is in “catching the mystery of that distinct time of evening”
