SIOUX Metropolis — Cars ranging from the Design T to vintage roadsters will be on exhibit at the Sioux Town Museum and Historical Association’s annual Bill Diamond Antique & Typical Car or truck Clearly show on Sunday.

The function is free of charge and open to the general public from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Middle on the riverfront. This is a Exhibit and Shine celebration pre-registration is not demanded.

Tunes will be provided by DJ Corey Jay. Large Papa’s Grub on the Run food items truck will have a selection of concessions obtainable for order.

The Sioux City Museum & Historic Affiliation renamed the auto display in 2004 to honor the event’s co-founder and longtime director of the Sioux Metropolis Public Museum, Monthly bill Diamond. The auto demonstrate was started out in 1970 at the Sioux Town General public Museum web page as part of a short-term exhibition. The event proved to be so common that it was ongoing and at some point moved down to its existing locale on the riverfront.
